Bayou Creek RV Park, RV Camping, Saint Francisville, Louisiana
About Us
We have converted the old bar/restaurant into a amazing home and entertainment center with a commercial kitchen for our guests and large groups. We have completely rebuilt the RV spaces into 30 and 50 amp, setup for easy access of large 5th Wheels and Motor Homes, and increased the number of spaces to 22 fully serviced LARGE and FLAT sites (each is at least 35' wide by 40' deep!!). We will have a additional 11 large spaces completed by August 15, 2014, and a additional 6 large 5th wheel/bus sites completed by September 20, 2014. Our total spaces will be 36!!

We just completed 7 new large private spaces over looking the creek, concrete foundation for a large screened pavilion with a kitchen and fireplace,we are also developing tent camping sites along the creeks. Even though we are not completely done (that may take years, ha,ha), we have worked very hard creating a wonderful, peaceful, rural retreat from the noise, the stress, and the hustle and bustle of life.

When we started, we had the River Bend Entergy Power Plant annual refit in February and March of 2013, with a great group of specialists and engineers!!  We have since had many oil pipe liners and oil construction crews and their families make us their home away from home. When we opened, we were lucky enough to have HELP!! Larry and Christine Hollomon, the owners of Peaceful Pines RV Park & Campground located on the south end of Saint Francisville have helped us with advice and sending us their over flow and large groups! Thank you!

In April (20,21), we had the Angola Spring Rodeo at Angola State Prison (9 miles down the road), the MOST amazing rodeo and hobby craft you will EVER see!! (they also have it in October, on every Sunday!) We also had a GREAT group that weekend, the Greater New Orleans Airstream Club, who filled our park and our bellies with GREAT food and wonderful evening conversations around the fire pit. Several of the group that weekend also enjoyed a wonderful hike down the 15 Mystical Waterfalls at Clark Creek Natural Area, Mississippi (7 miles down the road). They enjoyed "creeking"(playing in the waterfalls and creek), a great pastime on a warm afternoon!!
